How do I get work for you?

You may either email the work to us or request a folder be set up in Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or OneDrive where you can post your work. If your project is not in electronic format, to begin with, no problem. You can send it to us via snail mail. We recommend you add insurance to the package and be able to track your materials.


What is the best way to communicate with you?

We would prefer an email from you to us.


What is your turnaround time for responding to my emails?

We try to respond to emails as quickly as possible but within 24 hours of receipt. Responses may be delayed around the holidays.


How will I receive finished work?

Depending on the finished work, we will either email it to you, post it in Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or OneDrive and sent you a link to download. We will leave links open for 30 days.


How often do you invoice and when?

Invoices are distributed on the last day of the month. If you need to be invoiced at the completion of tasks or on a different schedule, please discuss this with us.


What are your payment policies?

Payment should be made by the date due which is Net 30. Payments can be made via PayPal or check. A fee will be assessed for insufficient fund checks.


What if I no longer need your services?

Just email me 14 days prior to when you no longer want services. We hope this won’t happen because the possibilities for us are limitless.


What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm CST and Friday 8 am-noon CST. Other hours are available with prior arrangement.


What is a Standard?

A standard is a specification that is set up by an authority as a rule for measuring quality, establishing criterion, or as a model for general operating practice. They promote interchangeability and improvements of products; while at the same time eliminate misunderstanding or confusion between manufacturers and buyers with respect to products and services. With standards, you can effectively streamline processes and trim costs, a business can secure a competitive advantage and remain competitive in the face of national and global market changes.


What is a Technical Report?

A technical report is tutorial in nature and may be written prior to the development of a formal standard when technology is too new for standardization. It serves as a guideline - not a rule, to assist the user, vendor or manufacturer in reducing costs, improving quality or marketing their products and services. Technical Reports are similar to 3RPs in context but take a different more formal approval route to publication. Technical reports are registered with ANSI.


What is Best Practice?

A best practice provides end-user guidance as to the most appropriate and often tested or proven method for using technology or process. More often, best practices are crowdsource drafted with minor approval process prior to publication.
